In the Self Leveling Mode, simply slide the switch to the "UNLOCK" position, and the tool will automatically level itself if it's within ±4° of horizontal. If the surface tilt exceeds 4 degrees, the laser will blink as an alarm. In the Manual Mode, slide the switch to the "LOCK" position and press the button for 3 seconds to turn on the laser. This disables the self-leveling feature and allows you to lock the lines at any angle for alignment.
